Skelton Smith was born in 1762 and died in 1838, Sumner County, Tennessee. Two of his children moved to Henry County, Alabama--Thomas Tipton Smith and Dianna Mildred Smith. Dianna Mildred Smith married Dr. Thomas Arnold Callen who lived in Smithville, near Columbia, AL.
