Slave holder, John Taylor died 1798 in Worcester County, MD married Polly Bowen (she predeceased him.)In his will of 1798 he left the following to his children. To his son: William Hazzard Taylor married Sally Johnson; inherited man named Jimmie. To his daughters: 1) Annarette married Peter Lister; inherited George and Grace. 2) Mary married Cord Hazzard; inherited Giant (or Grant) and George. 3) Elizabeth married Moses Johnson; inherited Sue and a man called *****g (I can only make out the last letter in the handwritten will. I will provide a copy of the will if interested.) 4) Nancy married Thomas Calhoun; inherited Cofee.
