Comments
Information about the people he enslaved comes from the 1830 census, 1840 census, 1850 slave census, 1860 slave census, and an 1862 estate inventory document. There are EP names, ages, and valuations in that 1862 estate inventory document (Malinda, Marticia, Alfred, Hannah, Jacob, Nancy, Tamar, Betty, Martha, Sarah, Harriott, Libby, and John). Three of those EPs, Jacob Campbell and a mother and daughter named Malinda Campbell and Nancy Campbell, respectively, have been found in the 1870 census.
