- I recently learned I am the descendant of slaveholders. I was crushed but it has made me determined to find the descendants of those my ancestors held in bondage. There are lots of names, Allen, Beok, Jinny, Isaac, and many more. I don't know how to document them on my family tree-but Im ready to learn. I have copies of my 4th great grandfathers will where he 'bequeathed' slaves to other family members. 🙁
