The above Lot of negroes were divided into two Lots as follows No1 . Mark Betty - John and Bella , valued at Eighteen Hundred and Seventy Six $ 1876 . Dollars No 2 -- Dolly , Jem , Otto Claim and Charlotty - Eighteen Hundred and sixty five & 1865 Dollars -- which upon being drawn for Lot No 1 fell to Charles McCay ---- 1876 . Lot No 2 to Mr Samuel Platt - 1865 Each being entitled to Eighteen Hundred and Seventy Dollars and 50 / 100 Cty it therefore is seen that Mr McCay shall pay to Mr Platt the sum of five dollars and sports to equalize then respective Shares - John Palmer Samuel J Palmer Samuell J Foxworth Personally appeared before me this thirty first day of Decr A D 1850
