- William and his daughter Susannah both owned slaves, among them Christian Brand (manumitted in Westchester County by Susannah 04 Nov 1740). Also slaves that were brought from Africa, and purchased by William Bond. They were probably the slaves mentioned in her will. It appears at least 2 retained their original African names ("my two negro men, wench, and child, one called or known by the name of Shadwell, the other by the name of Orendata Orendetes, the girl by the name of Satarea Orendetes, and her child Thomas".
