- Found an 1820 census record that listed 5 slaves in the household of Samuel Caddall as follows: Slaves - Males - 14 thru 25 3 Slaves - Males - 26 thru 44 1 Slaves - Females - 14 thru 25 1 His son, John Caddall, was also a slaver. The 1850 U.S. Federal Census - Slave Schedules lists the following 11 enslaved people in John's household: Male, 54 Male, 49 Male, 47 Female, 46 Female, 49 Male, 18 Male, 11 Male, 9 Male, 6 Female, 2 Female, 1 I'm just starting to research, so no other information yet. Hoping that I can track down names, at least.
