Cordes Harleston Trustee under the will of Mrs Rebecca Cordes , and in pursuance of an order of the Honorable the Court of Equity for and in consideration of the sum of 1 Twenty three hundred Dollars ($23000) to me in hand paid , at and before the sealing and delivery of these Present , by Thomas D Eason ( the receipt whereof do hereby acknowledge ) have bargained and sold , and by these Presents do bargain , sell and deliver to the said Thomas D. Eason , a certain negro Slave named Dido about 35 years of age with her daughter Catharine 15 yrs , Maria 9 yrs, Ned 5 yrs, and Sam 3 years of age five in number
