- Certificate of slaves was recorded on 22 September 1806. William Boswell brought from the State of Maryland into the Co. of Washington, D.C. for his own use and not for sale, the following slaves: George age about 25, a Negro girl named Alice (Alece) age about 11 and a Negro girl named Charity age about 14. On 8 February 1807, William Boswell sold to George Boswell of Prince Georges Co., MD a Negro man named George age about 41, a Negro man named George age about 21, and a Negro girl named Alice age about 12.
